Modern Embroidery by Ike Rosen
Today I'm super excited to share with you these GORGEOUS embroidery designs from the 1972 book Modern Embroidery written by Ike Rosen and published by Charles Scribner's Sons. Wow. Talk about eye candy! I wish I had time to sit down and devote myself to this craft. I've long admired stitch work like embroidery, crewel, needlepoint and cross stitch. It's like painting with thread.
BTW, if you search in Etsy under "modern embroidery book" a few copies will come up. They're not in English but with the large photos, templates drawn to scale and some embroidery know-how I bet even a novice could recreate the stunning designs. Enjoy!
