Paper People Book
Seriously, I don't have enough adjectives to describe this awesome retro book by Michael Grater. First, look at the super fun dust jacket. So mod. So 60s.
Paper People was published in 1969 by Taplinger Publishing and I kid you not: this 192 page paper crafting book is a gem. Children will enjoy the pictures in this rare book, but I honestly think it's more for an adult craftsperson. The instructions are very detailed and there is a lot of copy to be read. An adult working with children to make the paper people would be an excellent way to use the book, as well.
If you or someone you know is interested in creating hand, finger and glove puppets; marionettes, mobiles, jumping jacks, standing figures, action toys and more, this book would be a real treat.
